Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a full-service restaurant preferred but not mandatory
  • Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive
  • Happy and nice
  • Must be able to assist guests and possess great guest relations skills
  • Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand, walk and stay focused and alert for extended periods of time, 6-8 hours per shift
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Job Duties

  • Greets all guests with genuine enthusiasm and warmth upon arrival
  • Informs guests of their estimated wait time
  • Accurately enters guest names and information into the Resy system
  • Escorts guests to their assigned tables
  • Presents menus and provides initial table introductions
  • Bids guests farewell as they leave, expressing appreciation for their patronage
  • Addresses guest questions and concerns
  • Performs light housekeeping duties such as cleaning glassware and menus
  • Ensures the cleanliness, stocking, and orderliness of restrooms
  • Acts as the first and last point of contact for guests, creating a positive and lasting impression
  • Communicates effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management
