Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly with eye contact and a smile
- create a welcoming environment
- Review floor plans and reservation books daily
- prepare seating charts
- Manage seating flow and waitlists to ensure smooth service and fair rotation for servers
- Explain club policies and amenities to first-time guests (e.g., in-and-out privileges, service hours, reservation rules)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining areas
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally
- escalate issues to supervisors as necessary
- Assist with opening and closing duties (e.g., placing reservation signs, organizing menus, helping with cleanup)
- Support team members during peak times (e.g., bussing tables, running food)
