Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • able to perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, grasping, reaching, stooping, bending, twisting, and climbing stairs
  • must be able to stand and walk for 7 or more hours
  • ability to understand and communicate in English
  • must comply with company safety policies and procedures
  • available for regular scheduled work and flexible hours including holidays and weekends

  • able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • knowledge of menu, promotions, and special events beneficial
  • ability to operate computerized reservation and POS systems
  • strong communication skills in English
  • ability to maintain professional appearance and attitude
  • knowledge of company internal controls, policies and procedures
  • able to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends

Job Duties

  • Welcomes each guest with a smile and personalized greeting
  • acknowledges each guest as they are leaving with genuine appreciation
  • maintains a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance
  • maintains a businesslike, professional attitude at all items
  • has a working knowledge of the menu, promotions, special events, and other pertinent information
  • seats guests in such a manner that they receive the best service possible
  • answers telephone inquiries as per company policies
  • helps bussers set and clear tables
  • contributes to general housekeeping in such areas as the floor in foyer, windows/glass in front, host stand area, maintenance checklist, menus and menu covers
  • knowledgeable of the company's internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • must be able to lift to 25 lbs
  • and be able to push, pull, grasp, reach, stoop, bend, twist and climb up and down stairs
  • ability to learn and utilize computerized reservation/seating/paging system
  • must be able to learn and operate a Point-of-Sale system
  • must be able to stand and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours)
  • must be able to understand and communicate in English
  • comply fully with the company's safety policies and procedures
  • always follow the Company Service Standards model
  • must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends
