Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of host experience in a hospitality atmosphere
  • must possess or be able to complete RBS training and certification for alcohol service
  • must possess or be able to complete ServSafe/Food Handler's training and certification

  • 2+ years of host experience in a high-volume restaurant atmosphere preferred

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
  • maintain an accurate account of sectional seating rotation
  • manage waitlist operations
  • answer phone calls and place to-go orders
  • ensure exceptional guest service and teamwork
  • lead guests to their table with menus and silverware
  • assist servers as necessary
  • clean menus before reissuing to guests
  • follow departmental and business policies regarding alcohol service
  • maintain a clean reception area
  • keep condiments and supplies stocked
  • complete all side work and opening/closing tasks
  • communicate with management professionally and involve them in guest recovery issues
  • other duties as assigned
