Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Must have excellent communication skills and be very organized
- Must have legible penmanship

Job Duties
- Uphold the Fairmont Breakers values and mission statement while performing positional responsibilities
- Adhere to company policy and procedures, as stated in the company handbook
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Interact with arriving and departing guests
- Answer the phone using company standards and etiquette
- Take, record, and confirm with accuracy restaurant reservations in accordance with the reservation guidelines
- Use the Open Table system to input bookings and track guest progress throughout the meal service periods
- Use clear and concise communication with the assistants, servers, bartenders and the managers regarding the needs of the guests
- Escort guests to the appropriate table in the dining room
- Act as point of contact between guests and leadership
- Engage and interact with guests to create a friendly, attentive, and memorable dining experience
- Tailor guest experience
- Be familiar with all menu items and aspects and services of the property
- Assist in cleaning, clearing and setting tables
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant
- Be familiar with all food outlets and amenities within the property
- May assist with inventory and requisition forms
- Be knowledgeable of general city information as well as hotel history
- Be an ambassador for the department, the property and the brand
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Other duties as assigned
