- 6 months of host experience preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service experience required
- must be at least 21 years of age
- Washington Food Handler Card
- MAST certification

Job Duties
- Walk around your complete area and make sure it is ready for service
- check computer for guest reservations for day/evening
- have menus prepared and ensure all menus are accurate and clean
- welcome and greet guests with eye contact and friendly conversation
- answer phones promptly and provide necessary information
- determine guest seating preferences and create a wait list when needed
- ensure equitable seating for scheduled service staff through proper rotation
- check reservations and coordinate private parties
- open and close checks in Micros as needed
- assist servers by making them aware of seated guests
- assist in serving food and beverage to guests
- anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly
- maintain positive guest relations and professional interaction
- monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of stations and service areas
- enforce no outside liquor/beverage policy courteously
- assist with opening and closing duties
- follow supervisors’ instructions and be a team player
- assist in other departments and bussing tables as needed
- ensure coverage of all stations during breaks
- complete other duties as assigned
- follow operational procedures including clocking in/out and handling breaks
