Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
food and beverage experience in a full service setting is preferred but not required
ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment
ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment
effective communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with other team members
able to work unsupervised for extensive periods and demonstrate good judgment when dealing with customers and peers

perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing on a ladder, and walking long distances
standing for long periods of time and the ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures

Job Duties

Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service with a smile to customers and team members
exceed first class service standards and behavior with guests, business partners, and peers
engage with guests in a friendly, welcoming, and professional manner
provide accurate wait time and monitor waiting lists
use knowledge of menu to answer guest questions
coordinate with front of house staff regarding available seating
seat guests, ensuring proper server rotation is maintained
process to-go orders quickly and efficiently in the point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
maintain store appearance with respect to merchandising and maintenance standards
follow safety and sanitation guidelines, comply with all applicable laws
respond appropriately to customer concerns
ensure a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked host stand
assist servers and food runners as needed
maneuver heavy trays of food
take direction and collaborate in a team environment
perform other duties as assigned
