Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the number of people in their party
  • Seat guests by offering a clean and available table
  • Remove chairs and place clean, updated menus at each setting
  • Guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance as needed
  • Arrange tables, chairs, and utensils and set up seating for special groups
  • Ensure appropriate utensils and napkins are provided for each guest
  • Check menus for cleanliness, completeness, and up-to-date information
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day with continuous cleaning procedures
  • Monitor availability of seats, service quality, guest safety, and comfort
  • Adhere to all safety policies and company procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
  • Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • Use clear and professional communication with guests and staff
  • Support team goals and respond appropriately to co-worker concerns
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move or lift objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • Perform reasonable work duties as requested by supervisors
