Job Duties
- Greet guests and determine the number of people in their party
- Seat guests by offering a clean and available table
- Remove chairs and place clean, updated menus at each setting
- Guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance as needed
- Arrange tables, chairs, and utensils and set up seating for special groups
- Ensure appropriate utensils and napkins are provided for each guest
- Check menus for cleanliness, completeness, and up-to-date information
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day with continuous cleaning procedures
- Monitor availability of seats, service quality, guest safety, and comfort
- Adhere to all safety policies and company procedures
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- Use clear and professional communication with guests and staff
- Support team goals and respond appropriately to co-worker concerns
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Move or lift objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
- Perform reasonable work duties as requested by supervisors
