Job Requirements
- Must be able to work lunches and dinners and have mostly open availability
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing to adhere to dress code requirements
- Must be a US citizen or legal resident
- Must have at least 1 year of hosting or serving experience in a full-dining restaurant
- Fast food or restaurants without dine-in do not count as relevant experience
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- High-end restaurant experience such as casual fine dining or above
- Able to manage a reservation system and optimize flow controls
- Japanese cuisine knowledge is a plus
- Able to provide top-notch customer service
- Display a professional, positive, and friendly demeanor at all times
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- Ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
- Willingness to take instructions professionally
- Ability to solve basic math problems
Job Duties
- Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage all reservation systems and optimize flow control
- Seat and accommodate dine-in customers including assisting with table changes
- Answer phone calls professionally and take reservations
- Handle to-go orders accurately and adhere to food safety protocols
- Count and handle register including payments and cash counts
- Learn and maintain comprehensive menu knowledge
- Perform side job duties before, during, and after shifts
