Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the number in their party
  • Seat guests by finding a clean, available table
  • Pull out chairs for guests
  • Place clean or current menu in front of guests
  • Guide guests through dining rooms and provide needed assistance
  • Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings for groups with special needs
  • Ensure place settings are appropriate with napkin, clean silverware, and standard items
  • Check menus for cleanliness, currency, and availability
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest wellbeing
  • Follow company safety and security policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager
  • Complete required safety training and certifications
  • Maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • Ensure confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Use clear and professional language
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues
  • Support team objectives and listen/respond to employee concerns
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move and handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
