Job Duties
- Greet guests and determine the number in their party
- Seat guests by finding a clean, available table
- Pull out chairs and place clean/current menus in front of guests
- Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide assistance
- Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings
- Ensure place settings are appropriate with napkins and clean silverware
- Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, practicing clean-as-you-go
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, guest safety, and well-being
- Follow all company safety and security policies and report any incidents
- Ensure professional appearance and maintain confidentiality
- Welcome and acknowledge guests professionally
- Answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
- Develop positive working relationships and support team goals
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
