Job Duties
- Greet guests and determine the number in their party
- Seat guests by finding a clean available table, pulling out chairs, placing clean or current menus in front of guests
- Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide assistance as needed
- Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings to organize seating for groups with special needs
- Ensure place settings are appropriate and each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and other standard items
- Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being
- Follow all company safety and security policies
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
- Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- Use clear and professional language when communicating
- Support teamwork and respond to employee concerns appropriately
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Lift and move objects up to 10 pounds
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
