Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the number in their party
  • Seat guests by finding a clean available table, pulling out chairs, placing clean or current menus in front of guests
  • Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide assistance as needed
  • Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings to organize seating for groups with special needs
  • Ensure place settings are appropriate and each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and other standard items
  • Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being
  • Follow all company safety and security policies
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
  • Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Use clear and professional language when communicating
  • Support teamwork and respond to employee concerns appropriately
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Lift and move objects up to 10 pounds
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
