Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the number in their party
  • Seat guests by finding a clean, available table
  • Pull out chairs and place clean or current menu in front of guests
  • Guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance as needed
  • Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings for groups with special needs
  • Ensure appropriate place settings including napkins and clean silverware
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and practice clean-as-you-go procedures
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions
  • Maintain professional appearance and protect company assets
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Communicate professionally and answer telephones appropriately
  • Develop positive relationships and support team goals
  • Ensure quality expectations and standards are met
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move or place objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Perform additional duties as requested by supervisors
