Job Duties
- Greet guests and determine the number in their party
- seat guests by finding a clean, available table
- pull out chairs
- place clean/current menu in front of guest
- guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance
- move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings
- organize seating for groups with special needs
- ensure place settings are appropriate and complete
- check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free
- maintain cleanliness of work areas
- monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being
- follow all company safety and security policies
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager
- complete safety training and certifications
- maintain professional uniform and personal appearance
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- protect company assets
- welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards
- communicate clearly and professionally
- answer telephones with proper etiquette
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- support team to reach common goals
- listen and respond to colleagues' concerns
- ensure adherence to quality expectations
