Job Duties
- Greet guests and determine the number in their party
- Seat guests by finding a clean, available table
- Pull out chairs and place clean/current menu in front of guests
- Guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance as needed
- Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings for groups with special needs
- Ensure place settings are appropriate with napkins, clean silverware, and standard items
- Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being
- Follow all company safety and security policies
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management
- Complete required safety training and certifications
- Maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
- Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Use clear and professional language when speaking with guests and coworkers
- Answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
- Develop and sustain positive working relationships with team members
- Support team efforts to achieve common goals
- Respond appropriately to concerns or issues raised by coworkers
- Adhere to quality expectations and hospitality standards
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Move, lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
