Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the number in their party
  • Seat guests by finding a clean, available table
  • Pull out chairs and place clean/current menu in front of guests
  • Guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance as needed
  • Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings for groups with special needs
  • Ensure place settings are appropriate with napkins, clean silverware, and standard items
  • Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being
  • Follow all company safety and security policies
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management
  • Complete required safety training and certifications
  • Maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Use clear and professional language when speaking with guests and coworkers
  • Answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and sustain positive working relationships with team members
  • Support team efforts to achieve common goals
  • Respond appropriately to concerns or issues raised by coworkers
  • Adhere to quality expectations and hospitality standards
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move, lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
