Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • no prior related work experience required
  • no supervisory experience required
  • no license or certification required
  • ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds
  • willingness to comply with company safety policies
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and professional appearance

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • greet guests and determine the number of people in their party
  • escort guests to clean and available tables offering menus
  • assist guests as needed throughout the dining experience
  • arrange and move tables, chairs, and place settings for groups with special needs
  • ensure each place setting has the appropriate silverware and napkins
  • verify menus are clean, updated, and wrinkle-free
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using consistent cleaning procedures
  • monitor seat availability, service, safety, and guest well-being in dining rooms
  • comply with all safety and company policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions to the manager
  • maintain professional personal appearance and confidentiality
  • greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards
  • communicate clearly and professionally, including phone etiquette
  • foster positive working relationships and support team objectives
  • ensure adherence to quality standards
  • stand or walk for prolonged periods
  • move or lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
