Job Duties
- greet guests and determine the number of people in the party
- indicate seating to guests by offering a clean and available table
- remove and arrange chairs as needed
- place clean and updated menus in front of each guest
- guide guests through dining areas and assist as needed
- move and arrange tables, chairs, and cutlery for special group requirements
- ensure appropriate cutlery and napkins are provided for each guest
- check menus for cleanliness, completeness, and up-to-date information
- maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using consistent cleaning procedures
- monitor availability of seats, service quality, guest safety, and well-being in dining areas
- comply with all safety and company policies and procedures
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management
- participate in safety training and obtain safety certifications
- ensure uniform and personal appearance adhere to professional standards
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- welcome and recognize all guests according to company standards
- communicate clearly and professionally with guests and coworkers
- answer telephones following proper protocol
- foster and maintain positive working relationships
- support the team in achieving common goals
- appropriately listen and respond to coworkers' concerns
- ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards
- stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods
- move, lift, transport, push, pull, and position objects weighing up to 10 pounds
