Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the number in their party
  • Seat guests by finding a clean, available table and placing menus
  • Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide assistance
  • Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings for special needs groups
  • Ensure place settings are appropriate and complete
  • Check that menus are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas with clean-as-you-go procedures
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
  • Complete required safety training and certifications
  • Maintain professional uniform and appearance
  • Uphold confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and coworkers
  • Respond appropriately to employee concerns and support team goals
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
