Job Duties

  • greet guests and determine the number of people in the party
  • seat guests by offering clean and available tables and placing menus
  • assist guests through dining areas and provide help when needed
  • move and arrange tables, chairs, and utensils for groups with special needs
  • ensure appropriate cutlery, napkins, and other standard place settings for each guest
  • verify that menus are updated, clean, complete, and wrinkle-free
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
  • monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being in dining areas
  • comply with company safety policies and report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • maintain a professional appearance and confidentiality
  • answer phone calls using proper protocol
  • foster positive working relationships and support team objectives
  • ensure quality standards are met
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • perform other reasonable duties as assigned
