Job Duties
- greet guests and determine the number of people in the party
- seat guests by offering clean and available tables and placing menus
- assist guests through dining areas and provide help when needed
- move and arrange tables, chairs, and utensils for groups with special needs
- ensure appropriate cutlery, napkins, and other standard place settings for each guest
- verify that menus are updated, clean, complete, and wrinkle-free
- maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
- monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being in dining areas
- comply with company safety policies and report accidents and unsafe conditions
- maintain a professional appearance and confidentiality
- answer phone calls using proper protocol
- foster positive working relationships and support team objectives
- ensure quality standards are met
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned
