Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No prior experience necessary but preferred in food service
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies
  • Must maintain a professional appearance
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Capacity to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds
  • Willingness to perform additional reasonable tasks as needed

Job Qualifications

  • No supervisory experience required
  • Prior experience in food and beverage environments is valued but not mandatory
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the number of members in their party
  • Indicate seating to guests by offering a clean and available table and preparing the table setting
  • Guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance as needed
  • Move and arrange tables, chairs, and utensils and organize seating arrangements for groups with special needs
  • Ensure proper table settings including napkins and clean utensils
  • Check menus to ensure they are updated, clean, complete, and free from wrinkles
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day with ongoing cleaning procedures
  • Monitor seat availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being in dining areas
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures and report accidents or unsafe conditions to management
  • Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of company information
  • Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and handle phone protocols appropriately
  • Cultivate positive workplace relationships and support team goals
  • Ensure quality standards and expectations are met
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move, lift, transport, push or pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
