Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No experience required but some background in foodservice is preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to move and lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Must comply with company safety policies
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Must maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • Willingness to participate in training and safety certification

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in foodservice environments preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine party size
  • Indicate seating to guests offering clean and available tables
  • Remove and organize chairs and place clean and updated menus before each guest
  • Guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance as needed
  • Move and arrange tables, chairs, and cutlery to accommodate groups with special needs
  • Ensure utensils and napkins are appropriate and available for each guest
  • Check menus for cleanliness, completeness, and updates
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using a consistent cleaning procedure
  • Control seat availability, service, safety, and guest comfort in dining rooms
  • Comply with all safety and company policies
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
  • Participate in safety training and acquire necessary certifications
  • Maintain a neat and professional uniform and appearance
  • Protect company confidential information and assets
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues
  • Manage telephone calls following proper protocols
  • Foster positive working relationships and support team goals
  • Handle prolonged standing, walking, or sitting
  • Move, lift, transport, push, drag, and position objects up to 10 pounds unaided
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
