Job Duties
- Greet guests and determine the number of group members
- seat guests by offering clean and available tables
- guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance as needed
- move and arrange tables, chairs and cutlery to accommodate special group requirements
- ensure place settings are appropriate with clean utensils and napkins
- check menus to ensure they are updated, clean and complete
- maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
- monitor seating availability, service, guest safety and comfort
- comply with all company safety policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions
- maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code
- protect company confidential information and assets
- communicate clearly and professionally with guests and coworkers
- handle telephone inquiries following proper protocol
- cultivate positive working relationships and support team goals
- stand, sit or walk for extended periods
- lift or move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
