Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the number of group members
  • seat guests by offering clean and available tables
  • guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance as needed
  • move and arrange tables, chairs and cutlery to accommodate special group requirements
  • ensure place settings are appropriate with clean utensils and napkins
  • check menus to ensure they are updated, clean and complete
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
  • monitor seating availability, service, guest safety and comfort
  • comply with all company safety policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions
  • maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code
  • protect company confidential information and assets
  • communicate clearly and professionally with guests and coworkers
  • handle telephone inquiries following proper protocol
  • cultivate positive working relationships and support team goals
  • stand, sit or walk for extended periods
  • lift or move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
