  • no prior work experience required but experience in food service is valued
  • no supervisory experience required
  • no license or certification required

Job Duties

  • Receive guests and determine the number of group members
  • indicate seating to guests offering clean and available tables
  • guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance as needed
  • move and arrange tables, chairs, and utensils for groups with special needs
  • ensure appropriate cutlery, napkins, and standard table settings
  • verify menus are updated, clean, and wrinkle-free
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
  • monitor seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and well-being
  • comply with company safety policies and report any accidents or unsafe conditions
  • maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • greet and recognize all guests according to company standards
  • communicate clearly and professionally with others
  • handle phone calls with proper protocol
  • foster positive work relationships and support team goals
  • listen and respond appropriately to coworkers' concerns
  • stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
  • move and handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
