Job Duties
- Greet guests and determine group size
- seat guests by offering clean, available tables
- remove chairs and place updated menus in front of guests
- guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance as needed
- move and arrange tables, chairs, and cutlery
- organize seating arrangements for groups with special needs
- ensure proper cutlery and napkins are provided
- check menus for cleanliness, completeness, and up-to-dateness
- maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using consistent cleaning procedures
- monitor seat availability, service quality, guest safety, and comfort in dining areas
- comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management
- participate in safety trainings and obtain required certifications
- maintain professional appearance and cleanliness of uniform
- protect company property and confidentiality
- greet all guests following company standards
- communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests
- answer telephone calls using proper protocols
- foster and maintain positive working relationships
- support team to achieve common goals
- appropriately address concerns of fellow employees
- ensure compliance with quality and service standards
- remain standing, seated, or walking for prolonged periods
- lift, move, push, drag, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
