Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine party size
  • seat guests by locating available, clean tables
  • pull out chairs and place menus
  • guide guests through dining rooms and assist as needed
  • arrange tables, chairs, and table settings including napkins and silverware
  • check menus for cleanliness and currency
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas using clean-as-you-go procedures
  • monitor dining rooms for seating availability, guest safety, and service quality
  • follow company safety and security policies
  • report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • complete safety training
  • maintain professional appearance
  • handle telephone calls with appropriate etiquette
  • develop positive working relationships and support team goals
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • move or lift objects up to 10 pounds
  • perform other reasonable duties as assigned
