Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in guest service or hospitality preferred
  • strong verbal communication skills
  • ability to multitask and manage seating in a busy environment
  • availability to work evenings weekends and holidays
  • food and alcohol service certification or ability to obtain
  • professional demeanor and appearance

Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly professionally and with genuine hospitality
  • manage reservations waitlists and seating flow according to service standards
  • escort guests to tables and present menus with professionalism
  • communicate wait times accurately and manage guest expectations
  • coordinate seating with front waiters back waiters and management to maintain service balance
  • monitor table status and pacing throughout service
  • support special seating requests and accommodations when possible
