Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time up to 5 hours
  • Clear and effective communication skills in the predominant language(s) of guests
  • No previous restaurant experience required
  • Willingness to learn and perform various front-of-house duties
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including peak hours
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Capable of working in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for handling payments
  • Customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to learn quickly and work well with a team
  • Positive attitude and reliability

Job Duties

  • Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival
  • Open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant
  • Manage the wait-list during high volume
  • Learn guest names and preferences - let them know how important they are
  • Inquire about the guests' experience and handle or inform the right person
  • Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
  • Take carry out orders in-person, on phone, or through the tablet
  • Enter orders, send to kitchen and process payments
  • Pack food according to standards, prepare for hand off
  • Complete daily sidework and set up for next shift
