Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of point of sale (POS) systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle guest inquiries in a polite and professional manner
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

- Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules, policies and procedures
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff
- Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English

Job Duties
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Seats guests and manages the seating chart
- Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
- Performs opening and closing duties, as needed
- Assists others with side work including cleaning, stocking, folding silverware
- Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
- Helps guests with reservations and guides them to their table or the betting window
- Gives guests accurate wait time estimates and adds guest names to the waitlist
- Provides guests with menus and answers any initial questions they may have
- Optimizes seating at different tables to ensure even workload for the servers
- Uses the POS system and handheld device effectively and accurately
- Explains menu items and offers appropriate suggestions to guests
- Takes accurate take-out orders using a Micros POS system
- Participates in departmental meetings as required
- Keeps rotation sheets filled out
- Upholds standards by setting examples with appearance and work ethic
- Works to ensure a clean and sanitary work area at all times
- Handles any guest's complaints or problems in a prompt and courteous manner
- Complies with all departmental rules, side work assignments, and departmental procedures
- Performs other duties specified or assigned
