- Customer service or food and beverage experience preferred
- Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable

- Basic knowledge of menu items and service
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and culinary terminology
- Basic knowledge of dining room standards and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and thorough with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Greet guests on arrival and regards on departure in a warm and inviting manner
- Maintain full knowledge of restaurant lay-out and seat patrons based off of specific layout
- Work with communication devices such as telephones, two-way radio, guest paging system, and both computerized and manual table management system
- Interact with guests to maintain great guest relations and provide opportunities for loyalty
- Ensure and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the host podium and ensure the dining room floor is presentable at all times
- Communicate to management in a timely fashion any guest compliments or complaints
- Perform other related duties as assigned
