Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Six months of hospitality experience
- Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Clear speaking and attentive listening skills

- A minimum of 6 months in a hospitality operation
- Ability to stand and walk for periods of up to eight hours in length
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees
Job Duties
- Coordinates the operation and flow of the dining room during meal service periods thru seating and placement of guests
- Ensures guests are well communicated with and understand when they will be seated
- Adjusts guest seating flow to balance customers among the various server sections
- Graciously greets and seats guests upon arrival
- Provides menus to guests
- Manages special seating requests of guests consistent with table availability and special seating requirements
- Relays messages to servers, managers, and bartenders as appropriate
- Assists with the duties of servers and server assistants as needed
- Checks table settings for proper presentation and completeness, and checks server areas for proper supplies
