Job Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum of 6 months experience in a hospitality operation
Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and employees
Must be punctual and presentable in uniform
Must be clean shaven
Demonstrate ownership in resolving guest issues
Knowledge of the local community and culture
Maintain a clean-close section when ending shift

Job Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent
A minimum of 6 months in a hospitality operation
Ability to stand and walk for periods of up to eight hours in length
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees

Job Duties

Coordinates the operation and flow of the dining room during meal service periods thru seating and placement of guests
Ensures guests are well communicated with and understand when they will be seated
Adjusts guest seating flow to balance customers among the various server sections
Graciously greets and seats guests upon arrival
Provides menus to guests
Manages special seating requests of guests consistent with table availability and special seating requirements
Relays messages to servers, managers, and bartenders as appropriate
Assists with the duties of servers and server assistants as needed
Checks table settings for proper presentation and completeness, and checks server areas for proper supplies
