Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to handle special guest requests with sensitivity
  • Physical ability to perform host/hostess duties

Job Qualifications

  • Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities

  • Ability to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet guests as soon as they enter the restaurant with warmth and professionalism
  • Seat guests ensuring fair rotation of cover counts
  • Maintain cleanliness of menus and host stand area and ensure menus and wine lists are current
  • Communicate special requests such as birthdays, anniversaries, and allergies to service staff
  • Provide a warm welcome, name recognition, and fond farewell to members and guests entering and leaving
  • Collaborate effectively with other service staff to ensure smooth guest experiences
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
