Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a host or hostess in restaurants
- availability to work 2-3 shifts per week including mornings, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to perform opening and closing duties
- willing to assist with cleaning and stocking tasks
- reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to manage seating and guest flow
- familiarity with Mediterranean cuisine is a plus
- customer service oriented
- able to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- teamwork and collaboration skills
- basic knowledge of restaurant operations
Job Duties
- Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs
- seat guests and manage the seating chart
- monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- perform opening and closing duties, as needed
- assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware
- ensure knowledge of menu
- respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
