Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience as a host/hostess in a restaurant setting
- Availability to work AM/PM shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of dining operations and seating management
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience as a host/hostess in a restaurant
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage seating and dining flow
- Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine or dining service preferred
- Ability to perform opening and closing duties
- Ability to assist with side work duties
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs
- Seat guests and manage the seating chart
- Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed
- Assist others with side work including cleaning, stocking, folding silverware
- Ensure knowledge of menu
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
- Assist fellow team members and other departments to maintain positive working relationships
