Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous host/hostess or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the restaurant
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly, warmly, and with a friendly smile
- Manage the seating chart to maximize table efficiency while maintaining a balanced flow for the service team
- Answer phones professionally, take reservations, and provide accurate wait-time estimates
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand, entrance area, and menus
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, restaurant, and events
- Communicate guest needs or special requests to servers and managers
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the visit and thank them upon departure
- Follow opening, closing, and side work procedures as assigned
