Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds
  • Ability to stand and exert mobility for up to 4 hours
  • Clear communication skills for guest and team interaction
  • Compliance with federal, state, county or municipal food service regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months experience working in a hospitality, retail, or customer service related field
  • Good working knowledge of restaurant operations, including menu and general information
  • Strong commitment to serving others and providing warm, hospitable service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and positive under stressful conditions
  • Dependable and trustworthy
  • Friendly, easy going and pleasant demeanor
  • Ability to work well with limited supervision and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Opens door for guests as they arrive and depart
  • Warmly greets and seats guests as they enter the restaurant, accommodating any special needs
  • Manages guests' expectations when there is a wait to be seated
  • Handles incoming calls courteously and efficiently, following the established guidelines
  • Acknowledge guests as they leave and invite them to come back to the restaurant
  • Performs other functions as time permits including rolling silverware, running food to tables, bussing tables, inspecting restrooms and building exterior
  • Attempts to resolve all guest complaints striving for flawless recovery
  • Upholds safety and security standards at all times
  • Completes assigned weekly cleaning projects
  • Maintains professional restaurant image including cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
  • Completes other job duties as assigned by the manager
