Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years of leadership experience in dining services
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds and push/pull up to 90 pounds
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- excellent customer service orientation
- dependable with a stable work history
- basic math skills
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of fine dining service, table set-up and proper service procedures
- two years' experience in a leadership role in dining services
- two years' experience with Microsoft Suites and basic office skills
- ability to lead and motivate a team
- a demonstrated stable work history
- ability to lift up to 35 pounds and push/pull minimum of 90 pounds
- able to perform simple mathematical calculations
- able to adapt to any variety of job duties and situations
- required to work flexible hours, such as during staffing shortages and emergencies
Job Duties
- Enter Independent Living resident and guest meals into the Cardwatch system
- maintain proper filing system for meal tickets
- maintain daily GCI spreadsheet by recording daily meals for Assisted Living, guests, employee meals, events
- understand, inter-relate and service the needs of a senior population
- prepare daily sheet of wait staff for next day, assign sections to wait staff for the pre and post work
- assist with taking meals out to the residents and help dining servers as needed
- assist with events and holiday parties
- maintain a dining room reservation book for seating arrangements in all dining rooms
- maintain a watchful eye for any special cleaning needs in all dining rooms, kitchen or wait staff serving areas
- let housekeeping department know of any special needs necessary to maintain a clean facility
- cover Dining Room Supervisor and Assistant Dining Room Supervisor positions and act in their capacity in their absence
- other duties assigned by supervisor
