Job Requirements
- Be able to communicate with and understand our guests
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a POS system
- Must to able to maintain a professional and neat appearance
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
- Portray a warm, friendly, and sincere disposition with a smile
- Possess food workers card and liquor license
- Must have open availability which includes nights and weekends

Job Duties
- Learn and follow Silver City's values and SOP's
- Provide a warm, and genuine greeting to all guests immediately upon arrival
- Utilize Yelp Guest Manager table management system to effectively seat guests based on preference, balance of guest flow amongst servers, and guest count
- Page and/or call guests by name and amount in party as tables become available
- Provide guests with current wait times, constantly update wait times as determined by guest flow, and anticipate and plan for table availability based on the size of the party and seating preference
- Clean and maintain lobby area
- Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their server's name
- Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness
- Inspect restroom every 30 minutes, clean and re-stock as needed
- Take to-go orders on the phone and enter into the POS system accurately
- Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services
- Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter into the POS system accurately
- Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change
- When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant
- Communicate with servers and bussers to ensure efficient seating and table utilization
- Perform side work and cleaning at the start and end of each shift
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
- Maintain the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities and requests
