Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for handling payments

- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus

Job Duties
- Greet and welcome all customers immediately upon arrival and verify number in their party
- Determine special needs such as high chairs and special menus
- Seat customers at tables or booths appropriate for their needs and those of the restaurant and introduce feature of the day
- Suggest new menu items from limited time offerings
- Receive payment and make correct change according to cash handling procedures
- Assist with beverage service including bold, signature or flavored coffees
- Clean, complete side work, and organize supplies as needed
- Assist other team members without being asked
- Provide total guest satisfaction by inquiring about food/service satisfaction and handling complaints and suggestions appropriately
- Keep hostess area stocked and clean including to-go items and bakery products
- Handle incoming telephone calls and take to-go orders as appropriate
- Maintain proper supply of clean menus
- Assist service personnel in clearing and setting tables
- Resolve complaints by notifying the manager of any issues
- Assist other service personnel as needed
