Job Requirements
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret seating charts
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand for job duties
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policies
- Must be able to converse comfortably with customers
- Willingness to perform various restaurant tasks
- Commitment to maintaining high hygiene and service standards
Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Ability to read and interpret seating charts
- Friendly and outgoing interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to interact with public and coworkers effectively
- Basic cash handling knowledge
- Strong verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Greet guests and seat them at appropriate tables
- Record customer reservations and seating times
- Maintain and update restaurant seating charts
- Set up and maintain dining room areas before service
- Assist with stocking silverware for shifts
- Advise guests on menus and beverage choices
- Oversee delivery and servicing of food and beverages
- Liaise between kitchen staff and floor staff
- Perform cashier and bus person duties as needed
- Follow cash handling policies and maintain cash security
- Refill water and coffee, remove service items and condiments
- Perform team duties during downtime such as rolling silverware, expediting food orders, washing dishes, preparing To-go food, and cleaning table condiments
