Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of customer service or restaurant hosting experience
- ability to stand for extended periods
- strong verbal communication skills
- basic knowledge of reservation systems and POS software
- capable of working flexible hours and shifts
- must be able to work effectively as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience in a full-service restaurant as host or hostess or in another customer service role
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor
- strong organizational skills
- ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and promptly
- manage reservation and seating arrangements efficiently
- provide exceptional customer service and guest care
- communicate effectively with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting areas
- handle guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally
- assist with coordinating guest flow during busy periods
