Job Duties
- Greet guests cheerfully upon arrival
- escort guests to their tables and provide menus and silverware
- manage table rotation among waitstaff to ensure fair distribution
- accommodate special guest needs such as boosters, highchairs, and disabilities
- handle the waitlist and provide accurate wait time estimates
- assist servers as needed with guest requests
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area
- process credit, gift card transactions, and to-go orders
- learn food and beverage menus to assist guests
- answer phone calls and assist with opening and closing duties
- rotate seating to balance waitstaff workloads
