Job Requirements

  • Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent
  • No previous experience required but customer service experience is a plus
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Positive attitude and willingness to assist team members and guests

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is advantageous

Job Duties

  • Greeting and welcoming guests immediately upon arrival
  • Determining special needs such as high chairs or special menus
  • Seating customers at appropriate tables or booths and introducing daily specials
  • Suggesting new menu items and assisting with beverage orders
  • Collecting payments and making correct change
  • Answering telephone calls and taking to-go orders
  • Cleaning, completing side work, and organizing supplies
  • Assisting service personnel in clearing and setting tables
  • Resolving guest complaints and notifying management as appropriate
  • Assisting other team members without being asked
  • Maintaining proper supply of clean menus and stocked hostess area
