Job Requirements
- Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary languages used in the workplace
- must possess basic computational ability
- must have hospitality experience
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of host area
- ability to assist with menu and floor plan preparation
- must uphold dress code and technology policy
- must perform duties assigned by the food and beverage manager
- must have strong interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- previous fine dining and/or banquet experience
- minimum two years of experience as a head waiter or wait staff supervisor in a fine dining venue
- good communication skills both verbal and written
- knowledge of reservation systems
- proficiency with Microsoft Office
- ability to describe menu items and their preparation
- computer skills
Job Duties
- Greet and seat members and their guests
- manage the flow of covers for each server station
- assist food and beverage leaders in daily creation of menus and floor diagrams
- enforce the club's dress code and technology policy
- maintain proper condition and cleanliness of the host stand and its surroundings
- communicate effectively with members and team
- use suggestive selling techniques to promote menu specialties
