Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary languages used in the workplace
  • must possess basic computational ability
  • must have hospitality experience
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of host area
  • ability to assist with menu and floor plan preparation
  • must uphold dress code and technology policy
  • must perform duties assigned by the food and beverage manager
  • must have strong interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • previous fine dining and/or banquet experience
  • minimum two years of experience as a head waiter or wait staff supervisor in a fine dining venue
  • good communication skills both verbal and written
  • knowledge of reservation systems
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • ability to describe menu items and their preparation
  • computer skills

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat members and their guests
  • manage the flow of covers for each server station
  • assist food and beverage leaders in daily creation of menus and floor diagrams
  • enforce the club's dress code and technology policy
  • maintain proper condition and cleanliness of the host stand and its surroundings
  • communicate effectively with members and team
  • use suggestive selling techniques to promote menu specialties
