Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous customer service or hosting experience is a plus
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • friendly and approachable demeanor
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • basic knowledge of food and beverage service

Job Duties

  • Greeting guests warmly and verifying party size
  • suggesting new menu items
  • receiving payment and making correct change
  • assisting with beverage service including coffee
  • cleaning, stocking, and organizing the host area
  • assisting other team members proactively
  • ensuring total guest satisfaction
  • managing seating arrangements
  • handling incoming telephone calls and taking to-go orders
  • resolving guest complaints and escalating as needed
  • maintaining clean menus and supplies
  • collaborating with service staff to clear and set tables
