Job Duties
- Deliver and collect trays, menus, and nourishment to and from patients or residents
- act as liaison between patients, Food and Nutrition Department, and Nursing services during meal times
- take meal orders and offer choice preferences where appropriate
- familiarize with meal selection concerning patient diets
- communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards during meal service
- ensure timely and accurate delivery of meals
