Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree
- must be able to hear and read, write and speak English fluently
- completion of Host training including Responsible Service of Alcohol and other company-required courses
- knowledge of food and beverage menus, pricing, promotions, and sales procedures
- capability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- understanding of cleaning and maintenance procedures for hospitality equipment
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- proficiency with phone, intercom, paging, and headphone systems
- adherence to company policies and responsible alcohol service regulations
- positive attitude and strong communication skills
- basic computer competency
- ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking
- completion of Host training including Responsible Service of Alcohol, GHS course, Allergy e-Class, and menu proficiency tests
- possession of technical skills required for front-of-house operations
- working knowledge of company values, policies, and procedures
- ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in challenging situations
- basic computer knowledge relevant to front-of-house systems
- professional and courteous demeanor
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in basic math and time management
Job Duties
- Courteously open door and greet all guests immediately upon arrival
- thank guests as they depart and inquire about their experience
- stay organized, think and act with purpose and a sense of urgency
- demonstrate knowledge of food and beverage menus, pricing, specials, and promotions
- maintain cleanliness and organization of host station and assist with stocking, running food, and side work
- assist management team in ensuring maximum profitability through daily operations
- ensure compliance of established goals through continual communication
- seat guests and control the flow of the restaurant
- operate and maintain phone, intercom, paging, and headphone systems effectively
- clean and bus tables, booths, and chairs, sort and roll silverware, preset dining room tables
- ensure floors are clean and dry
- assist with to-go items including ordering, packaging, and cash handling
- manage sales recorded on the register, including cash and credit transactions and tip management
- adhere to all company policies and procedures
- communicate openly with team members and management
- comply with Responsible Service of Alcohol regulations
- stay informed on company and in-store promotions and product updates
- perform other duties as assigned
