Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months to 1 year experience in hospitality or customer service
  • Ability to speak, read and write English proficiently
  • Basic computer skills including data entry
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance and 10 to 15 pounds frequently
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • 6 months to 1 year experience in hospitality industry or customer service
  • Basic computer skills including data entry
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to speak, read and write English clearly and proficiently
  • Math skills including conversions of oz, cc, ml

Job Duties

  • Process diet orders following physician's instructions
  • Maintain and update accurate patient diet card files using CBORD and Care Connection systems
  • Assist patients with menu selections and communicate effectively with patients, family, nursing, and kitchen staff
  • Deliver patient meals and nourishments ensuring diet and meal accuracy
  • Retrieve and transport soiled meal trays from patient areas
  • Assist with training and attend inservices and meetings
  • Document patient intakes and calorie counts as required
