Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months to 1 year experience in hospitality or customer service
- Ability to speak, read and write English proficiently
- Basic computer skills including data entry
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance and 10 to 15 pounds frequently
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year experience in hospitality industry or customer service
- Basic computer skills including data entry
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to speak, read and write English clearly and proficiently
- Math skills including conversions of oz, cc, ml
Job Duties
- Process diet orders following physician's instructions
- Maintain and update accurate patient diet card files using CBORD and Care Connection systems
- Assist patients with menu selections and communicate effectively with patients, family, nursing, and kitchen staff
- Deliver patient meals and nourishments ensuring diet and meal accuracy
- Retrieve and transport soiled meal trays from patient areas
- Assist with training and attend inservices and meetings
- Document patient intakes and calorie counts as required
