Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a host or guest service position preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, OpenTable POS, and Chowbus POS
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Professional phone etiquette
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as OpenTable POS and Chowbus POS
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest relations best practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette and guest interaction skills
- Experience in the hospitality industry, including hotel or restaurant service, is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists effectively
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus promptly
- Handle reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems like OpenTable POS and Chowbus POS
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand area
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth seating flow
- Provide accurate wait times and updates to guests
- Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and seating preferences
