Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a host or guest service position preferred
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, OpenTable POS, and Chowbus POS
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills
Professional phone etiquette

Job Qualifications

Prior experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service preferred
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as OpenTable POS and Chowbus POS
Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest relations best practices
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Professional phone etiquette and guest interaction skills
Experience in the hospitality industry, including hotel or restaurant service, is a plus

Job Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists effectively
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus promptly
Handle reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems like OpenTable POS and Chowbus POS
Maintain a clean and organized host stand area
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth seating flow
Provide accurate wait times and updates to guests
Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and seating preferences
