Job Requirements

  • Must be available for weekday lunches and weekends
  • Able to work full-time
  • Previous experience in full-service restaurant preferred but not required
  • Display a confident and professional appearance
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Ability to exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to 6-8 hours per shift
  • Must be able to carry about 35lbs
  • Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with genuine enthusiasm and hospitality
  • Inform guests with estimated wait times
  • Input guests information into reservation system properly
  • Show guests to their tables and take any initial drink orders
  • Bid guests a warm farewell when they depart
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning glass and menus
  • Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked and orderly
  • Report on time and in proper uniform
  • Clock in and out as required
  • Promote teamwork within the restaurant creating a positive work environment
